  • 2026 Young Artist Competition – Applications Open

    Wesley United Methodist Church 400 Iowa Ave, Muscatine, IA, United States

    This annual competition is open to all musicians in grades 9-12 who reside or take music lessons within 50 miles of Muscatine, Iowa, and perform piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass or percussion. One participant will be invited to perform his/her piece with the Muscatine Symphony Orchestra on March 14, 2026 as a part of MasterWorks IV: “The Composer is Dead!” Scholarships will be awarded for the top THREE winners for summer music camps and workshops. Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Wesley United Methodist Church ~ Muscatine. Entrants must provide their own piano accompaniment for the audition.
