Howe Foundation Young Artist Competition
This annual competition is open to all musicians in grades 9-12 who reside or take music lessons within 50 miles of Muscatine, Iowa, and perform piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass or percussion. One participant will be invited to perform his/her piece with the Muscatine Symphony Orchestra on March 9, 2024 as a part of MasterWorks IV: “Cultures That Connect Us.” Scholarships will be awarded for the top THREE winners for summer music camps and workshops. Awards First place - $500 Second place - $300 Third place - $200 Entrants must provide their own piano accompaniment for the audition.
