In addition to seven concerts each year, Muscatine Symphony Orchestra gives back to the community by helping the next generation of musicians. We support the Muscatine Symphony Orchestra Boosters that encourage and support school-age musicians to hone their craft and play alongside the Muscatine Symphony Orchestra. We do this by providing free tickets to students and proving an additional annual donation based on the attendance level of the students.

Young musicians audition and play in the Young Artist Concert each spring.

Three Muscatine Symphony Orchestra musicians serve as orchestra directors at Muscatine schools: cellist Lindsay Clove at several elementary schools and violinists Guillermo Najarro and Kayla Priest at the Muscatine High School.
